THE JT PRO CENTER KITE SPOT

The spot feature a beautiful lagoon with shallow areas and very flat water to practice your best tricks. We also have a nice slider and the clearest water you will ever see in your life. The JT Pro Center is located at the center of the Grenadines with direct access to the other spots.

Our Beach lounge bar allows you to relax between sessions and browse the web to upload your latest action photos.
The JT Pro Center Kite Spot also feature the now famous Happy Island man made island where you can stop for a drink during your kite session!

We invite all independent Kiteboarders to follow the instructions on this page before coming to Kite on our spot.

If you are not taking any kite lesson with us you need to know how to kite 100% upwind to be able to kite on our spot on your own.

PERFECT WIND AND FLAT CLEAR WATER

The Kite Spot of the JT Pro Center offers amazing crystal clear waters to try your latest tricks and share your sessions with beautiful eagle rays and colorful fishes.

HAPPY ISLAND BAR

The Famous Happy Island Bar is located a couple hundred meters from your launching area right right in front of the JT Pro Center so you can decide to stop in the middle of the lagoon and have a drink with your kite in the air at one of this most famous Caribbean unique bar.

WORLD CLASS BEGINNER SPOT

If taking lessons with the JT Pro Center you benefit from the beginner shallow area and private dinghy to learn in knee deep water for your first introduction lesson. Beginners not able to kite upwind are not allowed to Kitesurf at the JT Pro Center for safety reasons.

KITEBEACH AMENITIES

The Kitebeach fee will give you access to our air compressor, bar area, Wifi, help with landing/launching. FREE for anyone reserving their stay with our website. Weekly and Monthly rates are available

KITE SPOT ROOMS

Book one of the Kitebeach rooms and stay right on the Kitesurfing spot with your room at the launching area and brag to your friends about how long it takes you from coming out of bed to launching your kite.

WORLD CLASS WAVE SPOT

The waves of the Palm Island resort offer both an on-shore and a side-shore amazing reef wave spot located at a 10-15min upwind ride from the JT Pro Center. These waves require an advance wave riding level.

TO ALL KITEBOARDERS – SAFETY RULES

 

To kite on your own on Kitebeach you must be able to Ride comfortably up-wind and have a good kite control. 

If you are unable to Kite upwind you can take lessons with our school.

  • All new Kiteboarders must register at the JT Pro Center before launching their kite.
  • All Kiteboarders must follow the beach sign rules outlined below.
  • Always launch and land your kite toward the water.
  • Do not leave your kite at 12 O’clock while on the beach.
  • Respect the airport buoys and harbor limitations.

KITEBEACH LAUNCHING HELP

If You are a Kitesurfer coming to kite on our spot and didn’t book your stay on the island directly with JT Pro Center you will have to pay a 10$/Day/Kitesurfer fee to benefit from our Kite launch and amenities  to help fund the general maintenance of the spot.
